Ongoing Pulpit Supply: Dr. Paul Koch

Paul Koch has taught economics at Olivet Nazarene University since 1992.  As a member of the faculty for the International Business Institute program for the past 22 years, he has also taught in both Europe and Asia during the summer. As a member of the Association of Christian Economists, he published an article entitled, "Whose Community? Market Economics and the Concept of Solidarity," in the Fall, 2020 issue of Faith and Economics.

He has done occasional pulpit supply, at both Community Presbyterian Church and other congregations, since 2002.  In 2021, he completed the Christian Leadership Program at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary.

His wife, Debra McCray Koch, is the retired program coordinator for 4-H Youth Development in Kankakee County at the University of Illinois Extension.  They have taught children’s Sunday School together, and Debra is also involved with the Blessings Gr0up and the sewing ministry at the church.  They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren.
