The Call to Confession
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But when we confess our sins, God, who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Trusting in God’s grace, let us confess our sins, first together and then in silence.
*Our Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart and mind and strength. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. In your mercy, forgive what we have been, help us amend who we are, and direct what we shall be, that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways to the glory of your holy name. Amen.
*Our Silent Prayers

Dylan H. Plug, Student Pastor
*Hymn of Response #39
“Great Is Thy Faithfulness”
*Affirmation of Faith (The Apostles Creed)
(All): I believe in one God, the Father almighty, and in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.
The Sharing of Joys and Concerns
(For each request, an usher will bring a microphone to your pew. After each request for prayer the leader will say “We lift this prayer to the Lord” and the people will respond “Lord hear our prayers”. Following each praise the leader will say “We lift this praise to the Lord” and the people will say “Thanks be to God”)
The Lord’s Prayer (Unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
