Join us for “Service Sunday” on August 22nd as we hold a unique Sunday service. We’ll gather like usual at 10am, but after a brief (5-10 minute) worship service built around Matthew 25:40 we’ll be sending the church out to serve in the community! We’ll have three opportunities to serve: 1.) meeting in our Fellowship Hall and putting together gift baskets for the people at Heritage Woods who are once again facing Covid related isolation. 2.) heading over to the Helping Hands food pantry in Peotone (200 W. Crawford St.) to help with some landscaping work that’s overdue. And 3.) meeting our ministry partners at Fortitude Community Outreach to help sort and organize donations for their work to end homelessness in Kankakee County. We’ll have signups in the sanctuary in the weeks leading up to the event and we hope to see you there!
